Mark your calendars for March 26, 2024, as the National Convention Centre in Hanoi prepares to host a pivotal event in Vietnam's economic landscape. Spearheaded by A+ Industrial Real Estate Investment and Leasing JSC (A+ Industrial JSCO), in collaboration with DH Vietnam Consulting Co., Ltd., International Investment Research Institute Co., Ltd. (ISC), and Sunrise Big Data Co., Ltd., the stage is set for the Vietnam Global Manufacturing Forum 2024 (VGMF2024).

With a gathering of nearly 600 distinguished delegates, the forum boasts a diverse ensemble ranging from representatives of governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, to stakeholders from economic zones and industrial parks across prominent provinces like Hanoi, Haiphong, Quang Ninh, and more. Moreover, the event will welcome approximately 300 delegates representing foreign-invested enterprises primarily engaged in electronics and manufacturing, hailing from powerhouse nations such as Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Singapore, alongside Vietnamese players in manufacturing electronic components, semiconductors, and equipment.

In the dynamic backdrop of 2024's evolving global economy, smart manufacturing emerges as the linchpin driving economic progress. Vietnam, positioned as a burgeoning production hub in Asia, assumes an increasingly pivotal role within the global smart manufacturing supply chain.

VGMF2024 endeavors to serve as a nexus for exchanging insights, presenting recommendations to governmental bodies, and fostering collaborations among associations, domestic producers, foreign-invested enterprises, and global supply chains. Deliberations during the forum will encompass cutting-edge technology, emerging industry trends, policy frameworks, investment prospects, and strategies for collaboration amidst the evolving global economic milieu.

Moreover, VGMF2024 aims to unveil the latest technological advancements and business paradigms, catalyzing smart production collaborations between Vietnam and manufacturing giants such as the United States, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and China.

Le Anh Dung, the General Director of A+ Industrial JSCO, expressed, "Experts and investors will engage in insightful discussions, shaping a holistic narrative for Vietnam's smart manufacturing industry and its global impact."

"This forum will be a platform for exploring how smart manufacturing can fuel economic growth, elevate industrial competitiveness, and contribute to overarching developmental objectives. Furthermore, discussions will revolve around identifying shared development prospects and fostering mutually beneficial outcomes within the current international context, particularly amidst the ongoing global flux of production investments," shared Dung.

The forum will be divided into two main sessions. The first session will delve into topics of smart manufacturing, intellectual property, technology, and innovation, wherein experts, policymakers, and industry leaders will dissect Vietnam's advantageous position within the global landscape and its supportive policies aimed at bolstering foreign investment to propel comprehensive development within the manufacturing sector.

The second session, themed "Manufacturing Technology: A Global Supply Chain Perspective," will provide a platform for businesses to showcase and update on the latest advancements in smart manufacturing technologies.

Post-forum, the organizing committee will continue to facilitate connections between investors and domestic manufacturers, fostering strengthened collaboration and investment ventures.
